Happy Small Business Week! We are entering the 3rd day of the Small Business Week, and I’ve found some interesting updates throughout the U.S.
This year’s Small Business Week is special, as for the first time, it’s held in 5 cities: Seattle (June 17,) Dallas (June 18,) St. Louis (June 19,) Pittsburgh (June 20,) and Washington D.C. (June 21.) Another reason is that the fact that Small Business Week has reached a milestone: 2013 is the 50th Annual National Small Business Week.

50 Years of National Small Business Week
This week, President Obama has continued America’s tradition of honoring the spirit and success of American small business owners by proclaiming June 17 – 21 to be 2013’s National Small Business Week.
Small Business Week declared by USDA
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today kicked off National Small Business Week by highlighting USDA’s actions to help rural small businesses create jobs, get access to capital and spur economic growth. He also announced the selection of recipients for USDA’s Rural Business Enterprise Grants.
